Past week has been quite good. I've had some meaningful conversations with my parents and friends too. Really love and miss them dear :). Sometimes I feel so grateful for all my parents have given to me. Often I don't even deserve it, but I guess that's what love and grace is all about. I hope I can squeeze a trip back to Singapore mid July to see them before they jet off to China again. Anyways its cold and gloomy down here. I need a nice tan, the beach and some swimming. Honestly, I can't remember Perth being so wet. It rains almost everyday and its mucky. Hanging clothes to dry, well...doesn't really dry.

As for work, I've been working everyday, gosh money is sooooo hard to earn. It's like, I work my ass off scrubbing dishes and serving some nasty cheapskate customers for hours for 50 bucks which was conveniently handed over to my hairdresser today. Geez, the things we do to look good! Sometimes 50 bucks is a small price to pay, if your haircut makes u feel like you're worth a million bucks! But yeah, I'm having a good time, getting lots of rest to make up for the physically, mentally and emotionally draining semester.

Oh yeah, before I go, just wanna help my sister with one of the stories she has for The Straits Times. So, if u guys, don't mind helping out, try http://www.straitstimes.com/ and take the snap poll on service! It's regarding some stuff about whether you think that you have been served well at restaurants or some sort of customer satisfaction survey.

Of course, I voted for NO- the service sucks. I mean, seriously, there are a couple of things which need to be done if they want to promote good customer service. Firstly, they need to hire less kids. Half the time, they don't even know what they are doing. I remember going to Fish and Co. with my sister last Christmas. It was horrible. The waiter didn't know how to take orders and another kid spilling mayo over my shoes wasn't too helpful either. Secondly, they have to pay higher wages. Seriously, with the close to $20 bucks an hr wages I get, I'm already trying to force a smile sometimes. LOL I can't imagine if I had to work for $6.50 an hr facing picky bosses and difficult customers. Hell, I'd just tell the customer giving me a hard time to piss off. Oh well, just my thoughts....

Oh yeah adopted a new pet pig on behalf of Jo! LOL. I love the name she gave it, everytime I see it I laugh. Feed it more k?
