Heh I just finished watching a streaming video from a site I really like to visit. It's at http://www3.alluc.org/alluc/ . Basically it has heaps of movies and TV series which are streaming and that means you can watch without the hassle of downloading via bitcommet or whatever torrent program you use. So I just wanted to recommend it to those who don't know about it yet :P
Anyway back to the movie. I adored it. Maybe because of the blend of colours which made the atmosphere so dark and dreary. The shades of crimson and grey seemed to blend so well. The action was good and well, knowing that almost 70% of the show was computer generated it goes to show how far technology has come.
The theme was cool, I totally love the Spartan i-do-not-fear death attitude and I think it's a trait which I really lack. I mean not to their extreme sense of fighting for honor, glory and freedom but recently I've been giving up on a lot of things. I used to have a never-say-die attitude but now all I can think about is cutting my losses and giving up on things has grown at a disturbing rate. This show made me reflect and remind me that this defeatist mentality has to stop. It's like a plague. Sometimes you just have to give it your all even if you fail, you can look back with no regrets and pick up valuable lessons along the way. Just some thoughts, hmmmm....
I've also been watching heaps of America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent on youtube. It's really quite interesting stuff! I have to say though, Britain's got more talent :p I mean, David Hasselhoff as a judge - come on, that says it all. Lol.
I've got utmost respect for the winner Paul Pott. He sold handphones for a living before this competition and you can see how simple and humble he is. Anyway, I've uploaded his performance. I hate opera but this performance of Nessun Dorma (haha Ally I know what u were talking about now!) made my jaw drop....enjoy
