I had the most horrible dream last night. I wish I'll never EVER have such a dream again =( I think I must be in distress.
I'm really tired. I'm tired of studying, I'm tired of working, I'm tired of this emotional rollercoaster. I just can't wait till everything is over. It's been a good 9 months since I've been Singapore and I really wonder how much things have changed. I'm trying to get the 1 December flight back. Hopefully, I will get to meet up with all the people I miss dearly. Sometimes I just hate not being able to be with them...
On a lighter note, I had a wonderful Saturday. After eagerly waiting but to no avail, Ernst and Young had finally replied my internship application and I'll be working there from the 11th Dec - 16th Feb. My fantasy league team is owning too. After sitting on the bottom of the league for a good month because I started two weeks late, I've actually managed to climb back a whooping 10 places into the middle of the table. Anyway, I've just set up another private league msn me if you want in!!
Sigh, time to do some studying...im out.

{Another Day At Work.. - Thursday, October 26, 2006}
Well, nothing much is going on in school. I do my tute, go into class, go for lecture then go home. I don't really speak to too many people in school so there really is nothing exciting to talk about. On the other hand...work...work sucks, which gives me something to talk about! Same old shit... I have to wash dishes, take orders from bitchy customers, deliver to stingy fags and appologise for late deliveries even when I'm risking a speeding fine. All for a whooping 15 bucks and hr inlcusive of tips and delivery bonuses. While Roy gets 20 bucks an hr putting boxes on the shelf in an air-conditioned supermarket. But then again, I get to meet all sorts of sucky people who make my life just all that bit more exciting!
Today was interesting. I started with a bang! I had to tend to some asshole who paid for his $30 pizza delivery in every singe coin denomination possible. So he gave me about 30 fiffty cent coins, 50 twenty cent coins 30 ten cent coins...you get the idea. After counting coins for about 5 minutes, he smiles and me and says 'cya later!' Well, I really hope I dont see him later and that he chokes on his pizza and dies! >=(
Then again, there also are some people who can get away with stuff like that: 1) a very very pretty girl with a very very nice smile - I think it happened once and I conclude that good looking people tend to get away with things much easier than others... 2) a very very generous person with a very very generous tip - this is self explainatory...
Today was quite funny also. Ally dropped by the store to collect a pizza I made. And when I passed it to her she exclaimed, 'YOU LOOK LIKE A KOO KOO IN THOSE SHORTS' (obviously refering to my uniform or maybe the way I wear it...God forbid, maybe both!). GRRRRRR =(
Just for the rest of you who haven't seen me in my uniform before, I shall paint a wonderful picture for you at my expense- The cap is an ugly shitty-brown, the shirt is an icky blue colour and the shorts!!!...have you ever heard the saying 'last time police wear short pants?' Just imagine those and you're not too far off! And for those who have poor imagination you can always call 131-888 (I have no idea what's the number to call in Singapore) and have a laugh when he brings food to your door. But don't make it too obvious because you'd be looking at his groin and he'll think you're another of those weird custromers.... And oh yeah! don't forget to tip! ;)

{Freaky Friday at Work - Saturday, October 21, 2006}
Working at Dominoes on Fridays is whack. I personally believe people are more generous on weekends. After a long week of work they're excited about the weekend and when I deliver them pizzas, they are chirpy and tip well. Think two generous souls gave me 7 bucks each. Soooo kind!
We get a lot of weirdos on the phones though. I can vividly remember a girl calling up asking where her pizzas were then I started hearing high pitched screams. I thought to myself 'OK maybe she stepped on a cockroach or something' and then, she started moaning and saying really horny stuff to her female friend who was also umm...making noise in the background. Probably a very weird prank but I laughed anyway.
There was this other weirdo who wanted his pizzas delivered to a yacht club. When I reached, there a few groups of people around so I called his mobile number he gave when we took his order. The call went to some lady in Melbourne. So like a fool, I went up to everyone asking if they had ordered pizzas but no one claimed it. So I brought it back. When I went back to the store, my manager told me that the guy had called again complaining that he hadn't gotten his pizza. He was asked for his contact number again but he refused to say. Seriously, if you are going to be in a place with other people around and you refuse to give a contact, how is anyone going to deliver the pizza to you? FOOL! So in the end, I ate his garlic bread and brought the pizza and chicken strips to share with my housemates. =)

{I love this song... - Thursday, October 19, 2006}
I've grown to like Aussie singers esp Shannon Noll and Guy Sebastian. I mean seriously this is what Idol finalists should be all about, not some scruffy looking ah beng which left the public with no other choice than to give Taufik a free win. I remember watching Singapore Idol and Sylvester (im not sure if that's his name)just totally messed up one of my all time fav songs. Seriously, how could anyone make it to the finals singing the Phantom of the Opera song 'Musics of the Nights'? Anyhow, I'm not too sure what they play on the Singapore radio but I thought I'd share this one because it has wonderful lyrics. Check it out.

{Knowing You Is Like Fireworks.... - Wednesday, October 11, 2006}
It's been awhile since I 've attempted writing something creative.. Couple days back I while doing a delivery, I drove past the Perth Royal Show. I never got the chance to go because no one would go with me ='( but I did get a chance to get a glimpse of the fireworks. The firework display was no where near the ones I've seen as a kid. I clearly remember the marvellous ones which I've seen in Disneyland/world and in America on Independence Day (4th July). Someone asked me to 'describe fireworks' and I replied with a short descriptive sentence. This is the expanded version I came up with after I've had some more time to think =)
Fireworks
Glowing buds rocketed into the midnight sky, The stalks of smoke trailed behind. In the split second that had passed by Blossomed brilliant flowers of all kind.
Carefully orchestrated whizzes and whirls, Complimented the loud thundering booms. As a fiery baton led in symphonic swirls, Crescendos harmonized with explosive blooms.
Vibrant butterflies fluttered Alongside swiriling bees; Thin smoke trunks wavered and boasted their green palm trees.
Then they slowly started sprinkling down, Showering upon upturned faces. Withering as they dropped to the ground. And then departed with glittering traces.
They were gone... And the silence took the night So I left with a smile, For I've never seen a more wonderful sight.

I know I'm not the funniest person in the world and sometimes my blog can be such a boring read. I was looking for a couple of videos and I decided that I needed a laugh and typed 'comedy central' under the search bar. So out came the search results. This guy, I felt, was really funny. Not because he looks like Garfield on morphine or because he has a last name which implies that he has tacos for breakfast, but his jokes we're pretty cute... anyway, while I work my ass off I'd have something exciting to offer in the meantime. enjoy.

{Week ending 8/10/06 - Sunday, October 08, 2006}
That's what I write on my time-card when I'm at work. I've been working quite a bit lately because my boss needs me to cover for some staff which are unable to because of Ramadan. So I've worked pretty much every day and lost all my weekends last week. I head one of the other drivers blabbering and asking questing which comes first: bros before hoes or hoes before bros...I'm starting to think I've gotten it all wrong by placing Domiones before bros(no nos to hoes).
When I'm in the store, I sometimes like to monitor the computer to see who's owning on sales. Not like it really matters but I am Singaporean and I am kiasu afterall... All in a days work: I've come to know all the subrubs around Nedlands like the back of my hand. I've also realised that some streets here are retarded. You can be travelling on a purely straight road without traffic lights and it can change from Victor St. to Aldema Rd. or something like that. And the street signs!!! Their print is tiny and hidden on streets with minimal lighting sucky.. Today, after church I walked by a store in Subiaco and I saw a nice Mossimo shirt which would add nicely to what my sister calls a 'metrosexual wardrobe' =/ Oh well, it was on discount lah and the salesgirl said it's a pretty shirt. Of course, I know she would have said the same regardless of whatever I picked out to try on but I thought it's a flexible shirt- One to wear on semi-formal occasions or to go clubbing. In any case, I traded 5hrs of work for it... TJ lent his dog to someone. I think he could start a business soon. 15 dollars a day, include your own food... Kinda miss Niki especially moments when I'm on my computer and some fuzzy thing rubs past my legs and lies at my feet. Snapped one on my camera =)
