A. Mary is a librarian
B. Mary is a librarian and a member of the Greens Party
C. Mary works in the banking industry

(C). B is prob what alot of people might think. But the probability of being a Greens Party member is low. The probability of being BOTH a librarian AND a member is even lower. While there might be many librarians around, there are definitely more people who work in the banking industry than in libraries. Hence the ans is C.
