Shuffle is my best companion walking to and back from sch and Hoegarden is my best companion when i'm overloaded with problems.

I've had a pretty awesome weekend. Spending wwwayyyyyy to much. Bought an esprit shirt(yes xinyi, i got one AGAIN!) and spent 20-30 bucks each dinner starting from Friday.

I love Little Creatures. It's one of those funky brewery cum restaunts in Fremantle which has a fantastic atmosphere, good beer and delicious food. Anyway, went down with the normal 'family' + Jay and Freddy. Here are some pics!

Features of Creatures

March has always been a big month to me especially when my sister and both my parents are born in this month. It always had been a month full of events to me. This year, I've barely been in my school term for a month and I feel the pressure piling fast. Had a few special dinners, did plenty of shopping, made numerous visits to the beach and of course the semesterly clubbing event, Mambo, which we always look forward to, coming up on the 30th.


I'm excited, at the same time, I'm absolutely exhausted. I'm so mentally and emotionally tired. Yet I feel happy because our state of joy is sometimes irrelevant to how tired we are; what's important is knowing we've tried. I feel blessed, because there was always a rainbow at the end of the storm.


I don't know what's keeping me going but it's good and I hope it continues. March on =)

I've been keeping to myself a bit recently. Spending most of my free time reading and sketching random stuff (and hence the title). If not, the usual arty stuff I turn to when I'm feeling down or confused.

There are many choices which we have to make. The small things we do, are like steps we follow that lead us ultimately to the person we become and the life we will live.

I feel like I'm at a crossroad, choosing what road to take and what to do, often fearing I might be making the wrong choice. Fear - today's service added more to the picture. There was simple quote which struck me. ''Fear can make us do nothing. Fear can make us take the soft option.'' I jolly well know what I fear and although I'm afraid, maybe it's time I really do something. Even if doing so results in the foreseen failure, which i so awfully dread, must try and be strong, learn and move on. I'm not going to stand at the crossroads forever.

Went for baskin robbins for the second day in a row and chocolate mouse royale + cookie caramel crunch totally= awesome combo. Played some connect 4 while eating our icecream cauz the baskin robbin at subi has a set there. Fun =) Speaking of fun, we're almost all addicted to playing the Insanaquarium game. LOL everyone in the house has been feeding fishes since yesterday afternoon. I think jun was up feeding fishes til 3+am last night haha!

Anyway. I've gotten quite good at it already and I've built myself a fishtank with shells(points) i've earned from the game. The coolest part is that it doubles as my screensaver now! Must...get more fish....


P.S. Xinyi, you got the funkiest fish it's the only one which i has that keeps changing its colour. =) Freddy got a crab simply because he likes to crab and alfred got a crab too-because he's full of crap ;).

As most people know, I've settled down nicely with tj and jun into the new home. Yet this post isn't just about a house being full but rather, something that might be missing. I'm sure anyone who plays cards will know what a full house is. Three cards of the same value and a pair. And while its funny how the three of us, all living under the same roof are in contact with each other every day, still read each other's blogs on a daily basis (cool huh!). So this post will complete the third card in the house and now all we need are- to find pairs... ....

It's funny. We have tons of soft drinks at our place. Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Pepsi Samba, Solo, Solo light, Diet Coke, Ginger beer and some other stuff which I cant be bothered taking the walk down stairs to check.

Anyhow, TJ told me that Coke has better marketing than Pepsi and hence is leading in the market share. Somehow, him saying that, triggered a weird thought- Why don't I blindfold myself, and drink from cups ranging from Pepsi light, Pepsi no sugar, Pepsi max, normal Pepsi to coke, diet coke, diet coke with lemon, coke lime etc....And see which drink I actually like the most. I know I have been pretty much indifferent, though the balance is slightly tilted toward coke because I prefer fuzzy polar bears and a fizzier drink. Then again, is it really fizzier? Anyway, I shall try it out soon to identify which drink I truly like!

Held our housewarming on Saturday and it was definitely a load of fun! We had decks of pizzas, around 8 bags of chips and who would forget 0ur bottomless alcohol reserve. Heck, even some strangers came by with a carton of beer and wanted to crash our party. Of course, we being hospitable people, rejected their entry to safe guard our guests =).

Jun was kind enough to entertain the crowd by renting a movie-The Amityville Horror and The Notebook which I watched with a Hoegaarden in my hands while lying on a comfy, newly bought beanbag.

TJ was kind enough to entertain the boys by playing crazy drinking games. He was playing a very simple (yet lethal) game which required 6 shot glasses, a dice and a few jugs of mixed drinks. Basically, the glasses are lined up in a straight line. First glass symbolizing 1, and last 6. Next, everyone takes turns to roll the die. Let's say one guy rolls a 4. So if the fourth glass if empty, he gets to fill it up and then pass the dice on to the next player. BUT, if the glass already had some drinks poured in it, he drinks it up, then rolls the dice again, until rolls a number which the glass which represents it is empty. Basically, good luck to u if 5 of the 6 glasses are filled!

First week into my last semester before i complete my bachelor of commerce deg. Lectures have been alright and i can only pray for tutes to be allocated in slots which will best suit me. Especially when i cannot wake up any time earlier than 10pm. Our new house is great. We all love it. We've made it look pretty decent and stocked up on heaps of food. Sigh, gotta keep reminding myself to try my best this last semester.

Anyway, today went down to ikea after uni with tj, jun, ally and freddy to buy some final items for the place. I found myself a new lamp and a bookshelf! I also found that im such a noob at assembling the bloody stuff. OMG its like common sense following the picture and screwing on the shit and yet i could screw it up. I so need to tighten up some screws. No idea what's wrong with my lately. I so need to tighten up some screws. But anyway, they are all nicely done up now =)

Really looking forward to tmr because we're heading down to the beach ^_^. I sooooo want to immerse my body in the cooling water. It's been an oven the past few days. Sit on my table type on msn also can sweat...yeah...im hot.....lol.
